Resort was a good place to stay. It's a few minutes walk towards the main road with different restaurants along going to the public beach front of Panglao (approximately 10-15min walk). Resort's facilities may need more improvements. The room was cleanly arranged but the comfort room door couldn't lock or even close. The TV was in a different language which made it difficult to navigate and the staff was not sure how to solve it. Breakfast meal that they provided was so-so. They do have a good pool wherein its depth ranges between 4-8 feet. Overall, its a fair price to stay but I do think there are a few things they need to improve with regards to their facilities and services.
The room was arranged oddly. The TV was confusing and only set for the Chinese. The breakfast was badly prepared and not good at all. You will pay extra for good coffee. We didn't even go to breakfast the last two mornings. Staff was adequate, but you had to go from your room to the front desk for customer service because there was no phone in the room. I will NOT stay here again!
DO NOT BOOK ! Hotel made us sign a disclaimer that we would pay 2500pesos for stained sheets and given us dirty sheets to start with. The room is rundown and the hotel kept in bad condition. You also can not use towels to clean your feet or …

Honestly I don't have anything bad to say about the Alona Northland. Good location. Friendly Staff. Rooms were ok. Breakfast wasn't great, but we knew that beforehand. We arrived early but we're told there would be a charge for early check-in. Can't recall another hotel charging for this. Usually it's a yes or "unfortunately no" response. The room was large & had a great fridge. The balcony was spacious, but sliding door didn't lock. Overall, it was fine.
Nice ans clean hotel, very spacious rooms. No option to have power in your room when you leave, fridge shuts down so no cold drinks when you return. Also not allowed bringing your own food or drinks. So, so, so many rules and regulations posted all over the hotel. I felt like a toddler. Had an issue with the shower, got a room upgrade straight away. Airco in both rooms did not do much. Barely one or two degrees lower after hours of blazing. Did get a electric fan straight away though which worked for me. Location a bit hard to find but 5min walk to the restaurants and 10 to the beach. Would stay here again. But please remove all the rules and regulations, i pay for a hotel, not kindergarten.
Stayed here probably 30 times + over the last eight to ten years. Last few years, prior to covid, I never could get a room. I was shocked when I got a room this trip. Rooms are great and a great pool. But other issues now are not so great. New owner. Breakfast is now pretty lame. Signs everywhere telling you , you are not allowed to bring your own food or drinks into the property. And if you get caught washing out your swim trunks, you can be fined 1000P. Plus, they really need to take action with the barking dogs. Dogs barked on either side most if the day and nights. Great place in the past but I will not return.
This is a great hotel! ||The staff are super helpful and friendly and cannot do enough for you. The trips they have on offer are also good value!||||Hotel is nice and quiet with a relaxing pool area. Bar Prices are good and the pool area …
